Die stdat is an urban planning company. the name is german for "the city".
The inspiration behind this logo was from looking into the history and origins of urban planning. One of the first examples of historical urban planning was the plan of Deir el Madina, which is an old pharonic city built around the tombs of the kings and queens of old egypt.
It still stands to this day in modern day Luxor. which is coincidentally the home town of the owner of this brand
